Financial Advisor
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
CFM is seeking a Financial Advisor to join our Financial Advisory Team in Virginia Beach, VA. The Financial Advisor will work closely with all the departments but specifically with the Senior Financial Advisors as it pertains to conducting client review meetings, onboarding new clients, tracking of client goals, handling introductory calls with prospective clients and much more. Essential duties for this Financial Advisor role will include, but are not limited, to:
- Conducting ongoing review meetings with the firm’s clients.
- Assessing their ongoing financial needs and determining priorities.
- Setting and conducting introduction appointments with prospects.
- Maintaining strong relationships with the firm’s strategic partners.
- Working closely with all the departments but specifically with the Financial Planning Department.
- Addressing each client’s outlined goals and helping them track their progress over time.
- Adding notes into the firms CRM after communication with clients.
- Performing other duties as assigned and required.
Qualifications/Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience as a Financial Advisor or similarly related capacity (i.e., Client Service Advisor, Wealth Advisor, Investment Advisor, Financial Planner, etc.
- B.A. or B.S. Degree required; concentration in Business or a related field is a bonus).
- FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses required or related licenses (i.e. series 6,63,65).
- Life & Health Insurance license required.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially in Excel.
- Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with others.
- Ability to work independently.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to organize and present data.
